Kenneth Bombard Sentencing November 28, 2022

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that Kenneth Bombard, age 43, appeared in Clinton County Court on Monday, November 28, 2022, before the Hon. Keith M. Bruno, and plead guilty to Arson in the Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Burglary in the Second Degree to satisfy two pending indictments against him.

Virginia Drug Dealer Sentenced to Prison

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The Office of the Clinton County District Attorney announces that the Hon. William A. Favreau, Clinton County Court Judge, sentenced Jariz Paige, 31 years old, of Newport News, VA and Newark, NJ, in County Court on December 15, 2021 to a seven (7) year determinate sentence followed by five (5) years post release supervision and a $5,000.00 fine upon his conviction on each count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, a class A-II felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second Degree, a class C violent felony.

LOCAL DRUG DEALER SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that Clinton County Court Judge William A. Favreau recently sentenced Michael Malseptic, who was residing at 2 Flaglar Drive, City of Plattsburgh, New York to a five year determinate sentence followed by three years of post-release supervision, as a second felony offender, with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

Kevin Doherty Sentencing May 20, 2021

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie today announced that on May 20, 2021, Kevin Doherty appeared in Clinton County Court, and entered a plea of guilty to the charge of Attempted Aggravated Assault Upon a Police Officer, a class C felony offense, in satisfaction of all charges against him. The defendant is represented by Public Defender, Jamie Martineau of Plattsburgh, New York.

SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS FOR ASSAULTING CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that Clinton County Court Judge Timothy J. Lawliss sentenced Angel Baez, of Schenectady, New York to a three year determinate sentence followed by five years of post-release supervision, with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Baez was sentenced as a second felony offender with a prior felony conviction from October 2018 out of Schenectady County Court. Judge Lawliss further imposed fees and surcharges in the amount of $3375.00.

COVID PROTOCOL JURY TRIAL CONVICTION

Plattsburgh, N.Y. – Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that Clinton County Court trial jury returned a guilty verdict against defendant Eric Alvarez on Tuesday March 30, 2021. The defendant was charged by indictment with two counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (intent to sell cocaine and intent to sell fentanyl) and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (possession of one-half ounce or more of fentanyl).

DRUG DEALER SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS

Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that
Clinton County Court Judge William A. Favreau recently sentenced Isaiah King,
of New York City, New York to a three year determinate sentence followed by
two years of post-release supervision, with the New York State Department of
Corrections and Community Supervision. Judge Favreau further imposed a two
thousand dollar fine on each felony count for a total of $8,000.00 in fines plus fees and surcharges

Clinton County Court Judge William A. Favreau sentenced Whitfield Wood, of
Schenectady, New York to a two year determinate sentence followed by one and
one half years of post-release supervision, with the New York State Department
of Corrections and Community Supervision. Wood was sentenced as a second felony offender
with a prior felony conviction from 2018 out of Essex County Court. Judge Favreau further
imposed $2,500.00 in fines plus fees in surcharges in the amount of $375.00.

Fitch was sentenced as a second felony offender with a prior felony conviction from May 2017 out of Clinton County Court. Judge Lawliss further imposed fees in surcharges in the amount of $375.00.

Clinton County District Attorney Andrew J. Wylie announced today that Clinton County Court Judge William A. Favreau sentenced Arkeyse C. Boyd, of Albany, New York to a six year determinate sentence followed by two years of post-release supervision, with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Boyd was sentenced as a second felony offender with a prior violent felony conviction. Judge Favreau further imposed fines in the amount of $2,500.00 fine, $300.00 surcharge, $25.00 crime victim fee and a $50.00 D.N.A. order fee.
