The Clinton County Traffic Safety Program provides education to the community about child safety seats, aggressive driving, fun on wheels, and pedestrian safety.

The program coordinates with state, local and county law enforcement efforts targeting occupant restraint and aggressive driving behaviors.

The Traffic Safety Program is a comprehensive program designed to help reduce and prevent traffic related injuries and fatalities in our community.

How Much Does it Cost?

The Clinton County Traffic Safety Program, is funded by the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee.

How Does it Work?

The Clinton County Traffic Safety Program, provides education to the community. The program has certified child passenger safety technicians and instructors that are trained to install car seats and to instruct caregivers how to properly install their child's seats. The program conducts educational presentations in local schools for pedestrian, fun on wheels, and aggressive driving safety.

Child Passenger Safety technician training sessions are offered regionally through out the year, and education for caregivers is offered by appointment.

The Clinton County Traffic Safety Program coordinates with the combined efforts of law enforcement agencies, fire departments and other community action agencies.
