Exercise programs and congregate meals sites closed as of Monday March 16th

Adult Day Program closed as of March 18th

AARP issued a mandatory suspension of the Tax Preparation Program held at the Senior Council until further notice

Senior Citizens Council has cancelled activities, but are available by phone and for the medical equipment loan program.

Senior Outreach Program through JCEO is still providing services with most staff working remotely, clients are primarily being assisted via telephone, face-to-face in person assistance is only available when there is no other means and will be limited to crisis situations involving food, heat, or medication.

Personal care provided through North Country Home Services, for the Office for the Aging's Expanded In-home Services for the Elderly Program, is continuing at this time.

Home delivered meals provided through the Senior Citizens Council are still being provided. The program is expanding service to include individuals that had been attending the congregate meal sites. Drivers are using gloves and hand sanitizer. The drivers are leaving meals outside the home, and watching from the driveway to see the client retrieve it, when appropriate. Exceptions are made when this is not appropriate for the client. These measures are to protect the clients and drivers, while still allowing critical services to be provided.

Clinton County Office for the Aging and NY Connects is providing service by telephone at 518-565-4620 from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays.

Information and assistance accessing programs and services is available, some staff working remotely. Face-to-face meetings have been discontinued.


The Airport administration office can be reached at 518-565-4795 and is open Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM while operating under reduced staffing to comply with current directives.

Airport staff are conducting ongoing cleaning of the Airport to ensure a safe environment for airport stakeholders and the traveling public Airlines continue to adjust their schedules and have canceled multiple flights for April

The Airport Restaurant has suspended operations due to decreased passenger traffic

Absentee Applications and Registration Forms available outside our door and will be processed upon completion.

There will be no restrictions for voter ability to register, change political Party, change address or request absentee ballots for any of the upcoming Elections.

County Highway staffing has been reduced by 50%.

The County Highway office in Plattsburgh is open Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM with reduced staffing. The public is encouraged to call the office instead of visiting in person.

Crews are addressing snow and ice issues as needed, performing road repair/maintenance work, responding to complaints/issues/emergencies as needed and maintaining County vehicles. Expect response times to be reduced during this
