How Does it Work?
The Clinton County Traffic Safety
Program, provides education to the community. The program has certified
child passenger safety technicians and instructors that are trained to
install car seats and to instruct caregivers how to properly install their
child's seats. The program conducts educational presentations in local
schools for pedestrian, fun on wheels, and aggressive driving safety.
Child Passenger Safety technician training
sessions are offered regionally through out the year, and education for
caregivers is offered by appointment.
The Clinton County Traffic Safety Program coordinates with the
combined efforts of law enforcement agencies, fire departments and other
community action agencies.
