Fare & Transfer Costs

Fares are subject to changes and are based on ONE WAY trips as follows:

TRANSFERS to RURAL ROUTES $1.50 (50¢ + $1.00)

Transfer Policies:

vTransfer slips can be purchased with payment of full fare.

vThey allow you to transfer from one route to another if needed to complete a trip at a reduced rate.

vThey are only valid on the day of purchase.

vThey are NOT valid on the route from which they were purchased.

vWhen transferring to a RURAL ROUTE: you pay full fare PLUS 50¢ on the first bus, and when you board the RURAL bus you present the driver with the transfer slip AND pay $1 fare.

Specials: Fares for Rural routes to and from the following locations are $1.00 one way:

Champlain Center Mall to: Morrisonville, Pleasant Ridge Trailer Park, Dr. Claus Offices, and Northway Trailer Park.                 

Government Center/Cornelia Street to: North Country Shopping Center and Clinton Community College.

Passes:

CCPT offers passes for those individuals utilizing the service on a regular basis.  These passes can be used on the entire CCPT bus system.

Student Passes: Students traveling to & from SUNY Plattsburgh, Clinton Community College, Seton High School or any other school in Clinton County may purchase a monthly student pass for $20.  Passes can be picked up at the Clinton Community College Bookstore OR the Clinton County Planning Office located at 135 Margaret Street in downtown Plattsburgh.  Students must have a valid student ID in order to purchase a pass.

Parents with children in the Plattsburgh City School District utilizing the CCPT system to and from school should contact the Plattsburgh City School District for information relating to the Momot & Duken Loop Route and the Oak & Bailey Loop Routes. 

Commuter Passes: These passes are sold for $20 and are comprised of 20 blocks equal to $1 plus 2 blocks that are free. Commuter passes may be purchased from the bus drivers or at the Clinton County Planning Office located at 135 Margaret Street in downtown Plattsburgh.

Service Hours: Monday through Friday 5:30am - 9:30pm; Saturdays service around the city between 11:00am - 7:00pm.
