Serving the mental health needs of Clinton County residents of all ages.

Primary Services offered:

Psychotherapy: Also known as counseling or talk therapy.  In this form of treatment, the client meets with a member of the clinical staff either individually, with a family member or as part of a group.
Medication: In this form of treatment, the client meets with a member of our medical staff who prescribes medication.

Consultation/evaluation:
   
Our staff also provides a variety of services to other community agencies, including the Department of Social Services, the Probation Department, the Sheriff's Department, as well as the Criminal and Family Court system.

How to get services:
    Come to the clinic between the hours of 8:30-12:00 Monday through Friday to register for services and be seen for an admission assessment. During the intake appointment, we will talk with you about the mental health problems you are having and their urgency or severity, and the services you would like.  We will also talk with you about your financial responsibility for services.

Fees:
    The clinic receives assistance from federal, state and local governments to assist those who could not otherwise afford mental health services.  Your actual fee for an appointment will vary depending on whether or not you have a medical plan, your household income and the number of people living on that income.  Your financial responsibility will be determined at the time of your first appointment.

Sun. Clinic closed

The clinic is closed for the following holidays:
     New Year's day,  Martin Luther King day, President's day, Memorial day, July 4th, Labor day, Columbus day, Election day, Veterans day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Directions to the clinic:
    Ampersand Drive runs from Sam's Club to Rugar St. in Plattsburgh.  It is the street next to the Stewarts convenience store and behind Consumer Square.  Rugar St. runs between Plattsburgh State University and the Military Turnpike Extension, and is roughly parallel to and South of Route 3.

Our clinical staff consists of individuals from a variety of mental health disciplines including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, mental health counselors, clinical social workers, nurses and paraprofessionals.

All services are confidential.  The clinic follows state and federal rules and regulations governing the confidentiality of client identifying information and client records.
