Comprehensive Safety Program

OBJECTIVE:  To provide a comprehensive employee safety training program for conducting safe operations in work zones while insuring the safety of the traveling public and Department work crews, insure workplace safety, and compliance with OSHA regulations and standards, to minimize liability exposure, and to minimize time lost from preventable work injuries.

In all operations conducted by the Department, safety comes first and foremost.  Employees are constantly exposed to hazardous working conditions.  By the nature of our work, it is our duty to put safety as the top priority.  Safety training is conducted by in-house trained certified staff.  The following is a list of safety programs currently conducted at the Clinton County Highway Department:
