the risk of diseases are no greater than in the United States. However,
booster of routine adult vaccinations are advised.
Immunizations are recommended when
traveling to Africa, Asia & Southeast Asia, Caribbean, Central & South
America, India and the Middle East.
You may need medicine to prevent malaria.
Your public health nurse can advise you about this.

required immunizations after reviewing your travel plans.
Fees are revised annually based upon
vaccine cost and demand.

Health Insurance Identification
Personal health history: list of medical
conditions, allergies, blood type, medications (leave in original
prescription containers)
Vaccination record

A prescription is needed whenever carrying
syringes
Personal First-Aid Kit: Motion sickness
medicine, diarrhea medicine, constipation remedy, cold medicine,
hydrocortisone cream, antibiotic cream, adhesive bandages, and thermometer

Avoid petting animals. If you get bitten by
an animal while traveling always assume the animal is rabid and receive
prompt medical attention.
