OBJECTIVE:
The Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for providing the County with clean, safe and attractive buildings and grounds.
TYPES OF SERVICES:

General plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and mechanical repairs. |
 | Interior and exterior painting. |
| Minor construction and alteration. |
| Grounds maintenance |
| Janitorial services |
| Heating and air-conditioning maintenance and repairs. |
| Assist other County Departments in rearranging office or transporting furniture. |

DESCRIPTION OF DEPARTMENT:
The department employs 22 full-time employees. To accomplish the work, the department is divided into two shifts. The dayshift is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and the upkeep of the grounds. The nightshift is responsible for the janitorial cleaning of the buildings. The department maintains all of the following County buildings and grounds:
